Case Report Competition 2026
Share your clinical experience at ECC Congress
We are pleased to invite veterinary surgeons and RVNs to submit case reports on any topic relevant to veterinary emergency and critical care!
Submission Requirements
Each case report should include:
- Signalment, history and relevant physical examination findings
- Key diagnostic investigations and therapeutic interventions
- Nursing care
- Outcome and follow-up, if available
- Key learning points drawn from the case
Please include a brief statement outlining which aspects of the case were directly managed by the presenter.
Who Can Apply?
- Veterinary surgeons
- Registered veterinary nurses
- No previous experience in public speaking or presenting required
Selection Criteria
- A maximum of six cases will be selected by the review panel
- Selection will be based primarily on clinical case management and reflective learning
Presentation Format
- 10 minutes to present your case
- Followed by 3-5 minutes of questions from the judging panel
- Presentations must adhere to timing
- Present using PowerPoint or a similar platform
