ABPI Code training 

The seminar covers the main requirements of the ABPI Code and the procedures followed by the PMCPA. It is open to all but would be particularly useful for those responsible for:

  • day-to-day commissioning and creation of promotional material
  • reviewing and approving promotional material
  • producing or approving non-promotional material aimed at the public (including patients and journalists) and working with patient organisations
  • organising or approving activities under the Code

 

The seminar lasts from 9:30 to 16:00. Lunch, tea/coffee and biscuits are provided.

 

Who should attend

  • Personnel from ABPI member companies and those non-member companies that have agreed to comply with the ABPI Code and accept the jurisdiction of the PMCPA**, particularly medical and commercial staff
  • Advertising agency staff that work with pharmaceutical companies on content

 

The PMCPA recommends this training for those who are relatively new to preparing or reviewing materials and activities covered by the ABPI Code, or those who want some refresher training.
