The Department for Business, Innovation, Science and Trade (BIST) is delighted to invite UK home, gift, accessories and lifestyle brands to join our trade mission to Shoppe Object, New York - one of the most influential wholesale trade shows in North America for independent and design-led brands.

Held at the iconic Starret-Lehigh Building in Chelsea, Shoppe Object brings together over 850 curated exhibitors and thousands of retail buyers from across the United States and beyond. The February 2027 edition takes place across three days, offering an unparalleled opportunity to meet key American buyers, assess the competitive landscape and build lasting commercial relationships in the US market.

About Shoppe Object

Shoppe Object is the leading US trade show for independent home and gift retail, showcasing a tightly curated selection of brands across tabletop, personal accessories, stationery, home decor, jewellery, wellness and giftware. The show attracts buyers from independent boutiques, department stores, museum shops and hospitality buyers throughout North America.

The show is trade only and exclusively accessible to verified retail buyers, press and industry members.

Applicants should be already exporting and have a product range ready for the US market.

What's included

As a BIST trade mission participant, you will receive:

• Exhibition space in our dedicated UK pavilion at Shoppe Object

• Pre-mission briefing on the US home and gift retail landscape, buyer expectations and show strategy
• Dedicated support from BIST throughout the mission
• Inclusion in the BIST mission delegate brochure, which will be shared with buyers and marketplace platforms
• Post-mission follow-up support and access to BIST's export services

Participation Fee To be confirmed 

Delegates are required to cover their own flights, accommodation and sustenance. 

Applications submitted are 'Expressions of Interest' and do not guarantee the offer of a place on the mission. Spaces are limited and will be by invitation only.
