UK Pavilion at Bett Asia
Wednesday 23 - Thursday 24 September 2026
Join the UK Pavilion at BETT Asia
On behalf of the UK Department for Business, Innovation, Science and Trade's International Education Team, I warmly welcome you to the Bett Asia Expo and Summit.
Following our highly successful participation in Kuala Lumpur in 2025, we are delighted to once again support this outstanding event in Malaysia with a prominent and impactful UK pavilion, number 1D11-E10 as you enter the expo floor. This major event is expected to draw approximately 3,000 delegates, and you can access the full summit programme, which runs alongside the expo, here.
Our pavilion features leading UK education technology providers together with UK government experts eager to connect with stakeholders across Southeast Asia and beyond. Last year, we facilitated successful partnerships for UK providers with ministries, end-users, and distributors throughout the region to enhance teaching and learning outcomes, and we aim to build on that success. You can find provider profiles on this website and in the brochure; they will welcome discussions about your needs and how they can support your goals. In the meantime, do please contact them in advance.
I would also like to express my gratitude to Malaysia’s Ministry of Higher Education and Ministry of Education, who have, once again lent their support for this major, regional event. Bett Asia will not only bring together world-class providers, but also ministers, thought leaders and, importantly educators themselves, to share experiences. During last year’s event, colleagues had the pleasure of hosting education policy roundtable discussions with ministers and senior officials from across Southeast Asia. These with the aim of understanding regional priorities, and where the UK can impart our experience, solutions, and advice as a long-term, trusted partner.
Education and upskilling are key to sustaining the development and closer integration of the dynamic Southeast Asia region, and the UK is proud to be a long-term partner in this journey. Our relationship at a bilateral and regional level, including through Memoranda of Understanding and our Dialogue Partnership status with ASEAN, has helped focus our support for the region in education. EdTech will be the key driver in that, for students and the world of work.
Entry to Bett Asia is free of charge, and you can register for a ticket here.
UK providers at the event, whether exhibiting independently or attending as visitors, can meet our BIST Asia Pacific education colleagues at our pavilion (see brochure for details). A link to book meetings with them in advance will be uploaded to this site shortly, or you can visit us on the day, for advice on international opportunities. Our team welcomes discussions across all areas of education, not just EdTech.
I look forward to hearing success stories of long-term partnerships formed.
Co-Exhibitor Expression of Interest
The expression of interest form has now closed for Bett Asia 2026.
Sponsorship Opportunity
Additional opportunities exist for UK companies, from across the education sector, to promote their brand and support the UK presence at BETT Asia by taking a key sponsorship package with the UK Pavilion. You can read more on this brilliant opportunity
Finally, looking ahead to 2027, we are planning a UK pavilion at the Bett UK expo (we will fully confirm that shortly), 20-22 January, which will be preceded by a ministerial symposium. If you are a UK provider interested in joining us at the expo, please drop a line to BIST-Education@businessandtrade.gov.uk.
