About the event
Thank you for your interest in Yorkshire and Humber's MP-led export events for your business, part of the Parliamentary Export Programme.
The Parliamentary Export Programme (PEP) is a series of virtual events held for businesses in a constituency, chaired and organised by their local MP. Attend these interactive sessions, where you will receive expert advice and practical guidance on starting to export and growing exports.
Are you interested in finding new customers and growing your business? Would you like to know more about the free support available to help UK businesses sell their goods and services overseas? Would you like to be part of a peer network of local businesses?
Join experts from the Department for International Trade (DIT), local businesses and regional stakeholders for a roundtable discussion chaired by your Member of Parliament (MP).
The following events have been confirmed for Yorkshire and the Humber Businesses region:
- 25 February 2022, 11:00 - 12:00 hosted by Jason McCartney MP for Colne Valley
Roundtable Participants and Agenda
We will be discussing how businesses can identify and take advantage of international opportunities to sell their goods and services, as well as how they can overcome obstacles to international trade.
Attendees will benefit from free advice from International Trade Advisers as well as insights from an experienced exporter in your region.
The local roundtables will include:
- Your local MP
- An International Trade Adviser who will provide an overview of the free exporting guidance and support available to Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (SMEs)
- A local stakeholder to cover other business growth services in your area
- An experienced exporter who will share their experience of successfully exporting to a new, growing market
- Other businesses from your area and an opportunity to network
To be eligible for these events and to ensure relevance, please note that your business address must be located within the constituency event you are registering to.
