Be a part of the UK Pavilion

The largest event delivered by all parts of the United Kingdom at Expo 2020 Dubai, UK National Day on the 10th February 2022, took over the entire site, with over 40 events celebrating UK culture, sport, innovation and more.

UK National Day recognised the UK’s contribution to the world and encourage all participating to #SeeThingsDifferently, from unique theatre performances to our innovative food offering, being part of a ‘selfie from space’ to witnessing the Queen’s Baton Relay.

We had music for all tastes. From Orchestra to Afrobeat, Rock to R'n'B, there is something for everyone.

The celebrations also coincided with the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee year, marking 70 years of her reign. What better way to mark the occasion than a visit from His Royal Highness Prince William, who joined us for the festivities.

Visitors were inspired to escape the everyday and visit the UK. The UK will be absolutely buzzing this summer, the way it was when we hosted the Olympics in 2012. UK athletes and sports celebrities were at the Expo site promoting the UK’s big sporting events, including Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games, the Rugby League World Cup and Wimbledon.
