The UK and India are natural partners as both strive to address the threats and challenges posed within the security sector, with a strong history of cooperation on a range of technologies.

Deepening collaboration between UK and India academia, industry and governments in the field of education, research and innovation are key pillars of the UK-India 2030 Roadmap.

British Deputy High Commission Ahmedabad through the UK Defence and Security Exports team has organised the UK – India Forensic Sciences Virtual Convention. The National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU) Gandhinagar – the world's first and only university dedicated to Forensic and allied sciences is the collaborating partner.

  • College of Policing - UK
  • Forensic Capability Network - UK
  • National Forensic Sciences University, Gandhinagar
  • UK Forensic Industry (limited to 10 companies)
  • Indian Forensic Science Stakeholders including Central/State Forensic Labs, Central Training Organisations and Indian Police Forces

  • Mutually benefit from Indian / UK Forensic Science knowledge & experience
  • Identify and develop UK Forensic industry export opportunities
  • Explore collaboration and partnership opportunities with NFSU
  • Enhance UK / India relations
