The iHV’s annual Leadership conference 2021 “Leadership for a fairer future” 1-day virtual conference is being held on 1st December 2021.
This conference will bring together leading experts as we focus on the latest evidence and national policy to create a strong and innovative health visiting infrastructure of support to improve the health and wellbeing of babies, children and their families. As the country focuses on recovery from the pandemic which has exposed widening inequalities and weaknesses within our health and care system, there is an imperative to ‘build back better and fairer’.
The iHV Leadership conference is our ‘flagship’ event as we come together at the end of the year to refresh, reflect, learn together and discuss new thinking for the year ahead. This year we are delighted to have a number of very eminent speakers lined up to address our delegates, also the voices of parents and practice to share recent innovations. We have also listened to your feedback and have allocated more time for panel discussions, with Q&A, some tailored concurrent sessions to focus on key topics, as well as breaks to reflect, meet the iHV team and network with others – these proved very popular at our conference in September, so we are making them available again. As always, due to popular demand, there is even the opportunity to undertake some exercise during the break with our 5 minute Conference Zumba sessions!
This conference invites all partners interested in evidence based infant and family public health and health visiting to come together to hear the latest policy, research and practice innovations. This will include but is not limited to health visitor leaders, as well as frontline practitioners, commissioners, employers, government officials, third sector organisations, GPs, midwives, obstetricians, paediatricians, researchers and those practising health visiting, or public health nursing in the UK or further afield.
