Format:

The policy forum will be held in hybrid format, with Russian, Kazakh and English simultaneous translation provided for those joining via Zoom.

Audience:

This series is open to UK universities and higher education providers only. Part 1 (information session) will be of particular interest to UK universities looking to explore TNE operations in Kazakhstan and gather more information about the market. There will be a chance for Q+A as part of this session.

Details: 

Under the umbrella of the UK-Kazakhstan Inter-Governmental Commission (IGC), the British Council is organizing a Policy Forum focused on the promotion of British transnational education in Kazakhstan. This is designed and delivered in partnership with the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The results of the Forum’s discussions will be integrated into the IGC bilateral protocol.

The policy forum will include keynotes by: (TBC) the Vice Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, UK Minister for Exports, Mike Freer MP and Eric Lawrie, Country Director of the British Council in Kazakhstan.

Cost: This series is free to attend for UK universities
