By 2050, 75% of the world's population will be living in cities. We need to consider the strain on global infrastructure, energy, housing, transport and the environment. Add to that an ageing population, mass climate migration and the impact of new technologies, and the result is a need to proactively address how we will live in the future. Join us as we bring Industry experts together to discuss how we can provide a sustainable quality of life to citizens in the future.

Rachel Skinner, President of the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) (2020/21) outlines a brand new initiative “The Carbon Project” launched in July 2020 which highlights the role that the sector can play to achieve net zero emissions.

Attendees will be able to hear more from Rachel who will be participating in the UK's programme at Expo 2020 Dubai.
