COVID-19 Guidelines

The safety and well-being of all our participants remain our top priority. We are putting in place rigorous protocols and stringent measures in view of the large event scale to facilitate meaningful business interactions at the event.
 
As SITCE – LTA-UITP Singapore International Transport Congress and Exhibition is a Vaccination-Differentiated event, please kindly note that the following categories of individuals are permitted for on-site attendance at the congress and exhibition venues:
 
  1. Fully vaccinated,
    1. i.e. has received the appropriate regimen of World Health Organisation Emergency Use Listing (WHO EUL) COVID-19 2 vaccines (e.g. Pfizer-BioNTech/Comirnaty, Moderna/Spikevax, AstraZeneca/Vaxzeveria, Serum Institute of India/Covishield, Janssen, Sinopharm, Sinovac-CoronaVac, Covaxin, Novavax/Nuvaxovid and CanSinoBIO/Convidecia) including their respective duration post-vaccination for the vaccine to be fully effective and boosters for eligible individuals, and had their vaccination records ingested in the National Immunisation Registry (NIR); or
    2. Recovered from COVID-19, i.e. persons with:
      1. Positive Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) test result, positive Antigen Rapid Test (ART) result obtained at approved test providers, or positive serology test results attributable to past infection and not vaccination, and
      2. Have completed their vaccination regime including boosters;
  2. Recovered from COVID-19 with unvaccinated or incomplete vaccinated status within 180 days starting from the day of the first
    1. positive PCR test result, or
    2. positive ART result obtained at approved test providers; or
    3. positive serology test result attributable to infection and not past vaccination.
  3. Children who are 12 years old and below, i.e. born in or after the year 2010, who are unvaccinated, are also eligible for vaccination-differentiated SMMs.
  4. Individuals who are certified to be medically ineligible for all vaccines under the National Vaccination Programme that currently include PfizerBioNTech/Comirnaty, Moderna/Spikevax, Sinovac-CoronaVac and Novavax/Nuvaxovid COVID-19 vaccines will be eligible for vaccinationdifferentiated SMMs. To be certified as medically ineligible, individuals may visit a local doctor familiar with their medical condition, or alternatively, any local clinic or hospital.
 
From 1 August 2022 onwards, only the TT app and HealthHub app can be used to verify a person’s eligibility to access settings under Vaccination-differentiated SMMs. Those with doctor-certified MI memos would have had their records updated in the system and reflected on the TT app or HealthHub app.
 
Please note that all delegates (including Foreign delegates vaccinated overseas) will need to download or produce their TraceTogether app/token for verification of vaccination status before attending any on-site activities.
 
Travellers who were vaccinated overseas will be granted a temporary vaccinated status which is valid for 30 days on arrival. This status will be reflected on your TraceTogether app.

Travelling to Singapore

Travellers entering Singapore can do so with the new Vaccinated Travel Framework. Under this new Framework, all travelers from ANY country or region can enjoy quarantine-free travel protocols for entry into Singapore. Fully vaccinated travelers will no longer need to take any COVID-19 tests in Singapore.

Non-fully vaccinated travellers entering Singapore from 28 August 2022, 2359 hours will no longer be required to undergo a 7-day SHN upon arrival, nor be subject to an exit-SHN Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) test. However, they will continue to be required to test negative on a Pre-Departure Test within 2 days before departing for Singapore. Non-fully vaccinated Short-Term Visitors (STVs) will also continue to be required to purchase COVID-19 travel insurance to cover the duration of their stay in Singapore. 

There are no Restricted Category countries/regions today; all countries/regions come under the COVID-19 General Travel Category.

Visa

Arrival

Most visitors to Singapore do not require a visa for entry. For more information on visa requirements and the Visa Free Transit Facility, you can check with the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority or the Singapore Overseas Mission closest to you. The period of stay granted will be shown on the visit pass endorsement in your passport. For a smooth arrival experience, do view this video to learn about the immigration process.

Departure

Upon departure, you may use the enhanced Immigration Automated Clearance System (eIACS), which offers you express self-clearance immigration. Do view this video to learn about this process.

For your convenience, download the Singapore Customs mobile app, Customs@SG, which allows you to declare and pay the duty and/or Goods and Services Tax (GST) for your overseas purchases on the go, before arriving at the checkpoint in Singapore.
