These terms and conditions should be read and accepted by you prior to your purchase. You accept that by purchasing a ticket to the Make UK National Manufacturing Conference, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
Ticket type: Your conference ticket option is dependent on your membership status. If you are unsure on your membership status please contact MemAdmin@makeuk.org before purchase otherwise your registration will be refunded and you will need to register with the correct option. Please contact conference@makeuk.org for all other enquiries.
Workshops: Please note that all workshop session descriptions and speakers are subject to change.
Payment: Upon accepting these terms and conditions you are required to make payment in full within 14 days from receipt of VAT invoice and before the event date. Until payment is received, your registration will not be processed and you will not have access on the day. The cost of the conference is subject to current UK VAT rates.
Cancellation/Refund: Cancellations must be received in writing a minimum of 14 days before the event date and will incur a cancellation fee of 50% of the total invoiced. Make UK regrets that we cannot give refunds for cancellations after this date, although substitute delegates are very welcome.
COVID-19: You are required to observe and comply with all laws, regulations, rules and requirements relating to COVID-19 and which Make UK and/or the event venue has adopted as part of its operations. Make UK will communicate the COVID-19 measures to you from time to time including and without limitation via pre-event emails, venue signage, and/or as instructed by venue staff at the event.
Make UK reserves the right to alter or remove its COVID-19 Measures at any time in response to the latest guidance or legislation from the UK Government or public authority.
Make UK reserves the right to eject you from the event venue or to refuse your entry to the applicable venue if, in our reasonable opinion, you are refusing to comply with any COVID-19 measures without reasonable grounds.
The requirement to present a NHS COVID Pass may be deemed a necessary COVID-19 Measure, if required by the event Venue or Make UK guidance at the time. If required, then it is a condition of entry for this event that a valid NHS COVID Pass is presented at the doors of the applicable Venue. Failure to do so will result in entry being refused (unless you are unable to generate the NHS COVID Pass due to permitted exemptions or because you are under 18 years of age, and in each case can evidence the same). All other refund requests will be processed in accordance with our usual refund terms
Force Majeure: Make UK will not be liable for any refunds whatsoever if the event is delayed, cancelled or you are unable to attend due to any event beyond our reasonable control including any act of God, terrorism or severe weather conditions.
Programme: Please also note that Make UK reserves the right to change the programme and speakers at any time.
Special offers, discounts and free tickets: Special offers, discounts and free tickets are not transferable for pre-purchased tickets and no cash alternatives will be offered. Travel and accommodation are not included and no standard terms of refund are applicable. Make UK reserves the right to withdraw any offers at any time and all are not in conjuction with any other offer.
