Keith James

Head of Policy and Insights - WRAP
WRAP is a charity, working with governments, businesses and citizens around the globe to create a world in which resources are used sustainably. We generate evidence-based solutions to protect the environment, build stronger economies and support more sustainable societies. As Head of Policy and Insights, Keith leads a team of experts across WRAPs areas of interest to support policy makers around the world with insights which inform the development and implementation of policy. This includes informing national waste management and prevention strategies, and strategies to decarbonise the UK, including the role of resource management in delivering Net Zero.

Grigoris Konstantellos

Mayor of Vari, Voula, Vouliagmeni
Grigoris Konstantellos took over the duties of the Mayor of Vari Voula Vouliagmeni, on September 1, 2014, after winning the first place in the Municipal Elections of May 25 2014, while in the Municipal Elections of May 26 2019, he was elected Mayor from the first Sunday with a percentage of 72%. He has been actively involved in the Local Government since 1990, at the age of 23 and has been a Municipal Councilor of Voula 1990-94 and 2002-10, Vice President of the Board 1990-1994 and Deputy Mayor and Deputy Mayor in the years 2007-2010. He holds a degree in Professional Aircraft Pilot from the FLIGHT SAFETY Academy in the USA. He is a graduate of the Department of Public Administration of Panteion University and holds a Master's degree (MASTER) in Aviation Management from the University "CITY" in London. He also holds a Ph.D. in Management International from the International School of Management (I.S.M) in Paris.

Víctor Mitjans

Head of studies and programs - Barcelona Metropolitan Area (AMB)
Víctor Mitjans is Biologist and Environmentalist and he has specialized in waste management from a transformative perspective. After working as an environmental technician in the local administration, he went on to work as a project manager and studio manager for the Rezero Foundation. In this capacity, he participated in the drafting of municipal waste prevention plans, various studies on waste management and producer responsibility. After working as an independent consultant, he entered the metropolitan area of Barcelona (AMB) where since 2017 he is head of the waste prevention and planning service.

Hara Xirou

Head of South East Europe - EUNOMIA Research & Consulting
Hara Xirou, a native Greek speaker, is the Head of South-East Europe Office, based in Athens with over 15 years of experience in the resource efficiency and waste management sector. Hara joined Eunomia in July 2014 and has recently been leading projects and providing technical expertise on: ‘Circular Economy potential in Greece’ for SEPAN (ΣΕΠΑΝ) in 2020, ‘Developing Guidelines for UNEP/MAP on Phasing Out Single-use Plastics in the Mediterranean’ for SCP/RAC (June 2020 – March 2021), providing ‘Technical support for the development of EPR on textiles and mattresses in Greece’ for GIZ/MoEE (Nov 2020 – Feb 2021) and ‘Development of Waste Composition Analysis Protocol for Greece’ for GIZ/MoEE (Nov 2020 – January 2021) as well as participating as a technical expert in GIZ/YΠΕΝ – ‘Market of Alternative Fuels in Greece’ and for the European Commission (DG ENV) -‘Towards an EU Product Policy Framework supportive of Circular Economy’ in 2018-2019.

Katerina Valta

Chemical Engineer, PhD, MSc, MBA - DRAXIS ENVIRONMENTAL
Katerina Valta is a chemical engineer, holding a PhD in chemical engineering in food waste valorisation, an MSc degree in environmental engineering and an MBA. Her expertise lies in the environmental management and is focused on solid waste and wastewater management with an emphasis on biological treatment technologies of municipal solid waste. She has also experience in performing Life Cycle Assessment of waste management systems. Katerina has a long experience in participating in research and innovations projects and she has collaborated with several institutions and research organisations and also the European Commission in the areas of Circular Economy and Resource efficiency. The last five years she has been working for DRAXIS ENVIRONMENTAL SA, leading the Group of Sustainability and Resilience.

James Rundell

Head of International Sales - Qube Renewables
James has worked in international sales for the last 25 years, building networks and partnerships across the world achieving long-term commercial relationships and has lived in the Far East and Middle East. More recently James moved into the renewables sector with QUBE Renewables Ltd, identifying opportunities overseas and putting the partnerships together to make them work. He has a track record of turning technical innovations into commercial propositions.

Montse Masanas

Product Manager - Waste, Spain - Anthesis Lavola
Montse is currently Project Manager in the Waste department at Anthesis Lavola. She has more than 10 years of experience in the resources and waste sector. Montse has been working at Anthesis Lavola since 2013, where she has worked in projects on the development of waste management design and simulation models, policy design and evaluation (including circular economy strategies), data management, analysis and visualisation and stakeholder engagement and reporting.

Lamia Sbiti

Business Transformation Manager - ReLondon
Lamia oversees ReLondon’s business transformation programme, which supports London’s small and medium-sized businesses to translate circular economy principles into commercial opportunities. The programme has worked with nearly 300 businesses to date, helping them adopt or scale circular business models across the city to help London reduce waste and increase rates of reuse, recycling, sharing and renting.

Pawel Kisielewski

Chief Executive Officer - CCm Technologies
Prior to becoming CEO five years ago, Pawel was a Senior Advisor to Kleinwort Benson’s Merchant Banking group and remains a Senior Advisor at Stanhope Capital with over 25 years investment banking experience in capital raising in the institutional, public and early stage private markets. Previously the Investment Partner of Hermes BPK and Caliburn Capital, Pawel formerly ran Global Technology Equity Sales at Merrill Lynch and was head of Credit Suisse First Boston’s and Deutsche Bank’s London-based Pan European Equity sales. At the start of his career Pawel served with H.M. Forces for six years in Germany, Cyprus and the UK.

Sales and Marketing Manager - Greenlane Renewables
Mark has worked in the waste to energy sector for over 15 years, delivering projects in the UK, Europe and North America. Specifically providing the technology to turn biogas from organic waste to valuable renewable natural gas.

Michalis Sapountzis

Project Manager - MYTILINEOS S.A. - Environmental Solutions Segment
Michalis is working in Mytilineos SA since 2007 a company specialized in the engineering, procurement and construction of Power Plants (Combined Cycle Gas Turbine Power Plant) delivering projects in Europe, Middle East and Africa. Currently engaged as a Project Manager in the Sustainable Engineering Solution Business Unit (SES) for the Protos EfW Project a two stream waste deriving energy recovery project in Cheshire UK.
