This year’s event will be like no other. For the first time, this year's Global Finals will feature during a week-long World Class Cocktail Festival celebrating the best of Sydney’s cocktail culture. You will have the opportunity to experience Sydney's vibrant cocktail scene first-hand at a range of partner bar and restaurants, with a line-up of incredible brand pop-ups and collaborations.

Alongside the festival, the World Class Bartender of the Year Global Finals 2022 will then see the world’s best bartenders step into the spotlight to compete in a series of spectacular challenges.

With the iconic Sydney Opera House and world-famous harbour as the backdrop, the city will witness a truly incredible World Class takeover with a fully integrated programme of festival and competition events that celebrate the craft of cocktail culture and showcase the thrills and spills of the world's best bartenders as they work their masterful magic.

Using Diageo’s award-winning portfolio of Reserve brands, bartenders will need to be at their best to capture the imaginations and votes of our world class judges with the ultimate prize of being named World Class Global Bartender of the Year 2022 at stake.

The four-day competition culminates in our legendary final awards night, where we will crown the World Class Global Winner 2022.
