The Peruvian government has set an ambitious target to deliver a National Infrastructure Plan of £20bn till 2025 which is made mainly by Public Private Partnership’s projects. But, after 2 years of slow delivery and being not on the right track with only 14% of progress, new solutions are sought by the government.
Moreover, the good experience using G2G models has established a new framework and strategy for delivering major infrastructure public projects in the country. Mirroring that success, Ministry of Economy designed in 2020 a Public Investment Special Project (PEIP) framework to boost public investment into key programmes. Likewise, the government is planning to create a Centre of Excellence in Project delivery.
The event took place at the Hyatt Centric Hotel.
