The Department for International Trade (DIT) is delighted to invite new and potential exporters from multiple sectors across the Northern Powerhouse to join our Trade Mission to Copenhagen, Denmark.

The mission is specifically targeted at companies who are new to exporting or with limited export experience so they can see the benefits of and obstacles of doing business overseas.

Denmark is a great place for UK businesses to start exporting for the first time.

With English being widely spoken, it is one of the EU’s best-performing economies and is very open to international trade. Doing business is very similar to the UK, and the country places great emphasis on clean and sustainable industries.

This gateway to Scandinavia offers a wealthy, educated and open economy and is receptive to UK products and services.

 

What's on offer

The mission will take place across two days and will include presentations on doing business in Denmark, meetings with DIT trade  advisers in Copenhagen, a networking dinner, meetings with local business support agencies and free time  for delegates to pursue their own business activities.

Opportunity to meet face to face with DIT specialisits in country, network with contacts and support networks in the Danish market place and understand the landscape of how to do business in Denmark as a first time /inexperienced exporter.

 

How to attend

Register your interest today to be considered for selection. Eligible companies will be invited to complete their booking and pay a £99 joining fee.

This includes accommodation in Copenhagen on 19th and 20th June and a networking dinner on 20th June.

 

We will be collecting personal information as part of our registration process. This information will be processed and shared within the Department for International Trade (DIT) and with selected third parties for purposes connected with DIT performing a task in the public interest or to fulfil an official function and the task or function has a clear basis in law. DIT takes your privacy very seriously. Your personal data shall be processed according to the Department for International Trade’s Fair Processing Notice.
