About the trainer

Mark Embleton | Maersk Technical Manager (Chemcore)

Mark is an expert in lube oil chemistry and application, currently managing Maersk Line's lubrication strategy. His responsibilities include product selection, usage guidelines, unique product development, environmental compliance, used oil analysis, and R&D. With a background in oil chemistry and formulation, Mark guides the Maersk fleet on best practices and oversees the used oil analysis program. He has worked extensively on the blend-on-board system and develops solutions to maximize efficiency and reliability. As an active member of the CIMAC Working Group 8, Mark is focused on future fuel readiness, emissions reduction, and energy efficiency, aiming to minimize the industry's environmental impact.
