Understanding PREVENT Responsibilities

About the event

This workshop will present the aims of the Prevent strategy across Scotland, with specific focus on the role Prevent has as a safeguarding pathway within further education settings and what this means for staff and students.

The session will use relevant case study analysis to detail the process from referral to intervention and support.

Delegates will increase their awareness of how and when Prevent can be used as a supportive intervention and enhance their understanding of their responsibilities as a board member.
