About the event

Department for International Trade, in partnership with British American Business Council North West, and the Council for American States in Europe (CASE) invite companies to join us for an opportunity to meet state representatives from the USA and explore the topics on how to help your business succeed in the US Market. 

Delegates will hear from a variety of speakers covering key topics: 

• How to handle the legal aspects of the US market  

• Tax and fiscal intricacies of the US tax structure 

• The UK and the US – a common language and different business culture 

• Shipping goods to the US –navigating the requirements 

Export Champions, who are successfully exporting and expanding their business in the USA, will share their experiences and state representatives from Georgia, Florida, Illinois, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina and Wisconsin as well as the Tax and Legal experts, will be available for 1 to 1 meetings following the main event.   

Meetings will be 20 minutes per company and need to be pre-booked.
