Abstract Submission Guidance
Papers: Researchers and practitioners who would like to present a paper are invited to submit a 500 word abstract. Paper sessions will include time for audience questions and feedback. You will typically have 15 minutes to present your paper, plus 5 minutes for questions. Full papers will be eligible for a Best Conference Paper Award. The abstract should include the conference topic addressed, the approach adopted (theory applied or method), findings. Paper abstracts can be written in English, French or Spanish –please indicate the language you wish to present in. Please indicate if you would like to present in person or online
Posters: Participants are also given the opportunity to submit an abstract for poster presentations. Abstracts should be approximately 500 words and should cover the conference topic addressed, the approach adopted (theory applied or method), findings. Poster abstracts can be written in English, French or Spanish Posters will be made available online as well as hard copy at the conference.
Workshops: A workshop is a working meeting that focuses on a specific area related to the conference themes. Proposals for workshops should be 500 words approx.. The proposal should include a brief overview of the area of research, teaching or practice that will be addressed; how this relates to the conference topics and a summary of the session’s planned activities, with timings. Workshops will be a maximum of 90 minutes. Workshops will only be held in person and will take place in English.
