What to expect from this event
Our Aim
EMINENT is the Experts Meeting in Education Networking annual event organised by European Schoolnet (EUN). This year, the event will be organised on 6 and 7 December 2022 in Dublin at the Aviva Stadium, with the support of the Ministry of Education of Ireland. Designed to generate new insights on the responsible use of data in education, Eminent 2022 will bring high level experts in education, Ministries representatives and other relevant stakeholders from all over Europe. Moreover, the aim of this conference is to facilitate discussion and interaction between countries to exchanges best practices.
Learn & Be Inspired
The idea behind the conference is to raise awareness about the important and positive impact of using data in education for teachers, schools, children, policymakers and parents (e.g.: facilitating assessments, decision making, offering new alternatives and targeted learning opportunities, improve equity…), when this is done in a responsible and smart way. At the same time, we will address the existing challenges to be taken into consideration by all actors involved in the education ecosystem, such as ethical problems, children data protection and data literacy

Connect with us and help us address the existing challenges to be taken into consideration by all actors involved in the education ecosystem, such as ethical problems, children data protection and data literacy (teachers, pupils and parents). To find solutions to those challenges, we will ask policymakers, international organisations in the field, EdTech experts, teachers and students in order to close the event with an idea of what should be considered a responsible use of data at school.
