UK at COP27
The UK Pavilion at COP27
Following the UK's COP26 Presidency, we welcome COP delegates to the UK Pavilion in Egypt to learn about our efforts to combat climate change.
Our COP Presidency ends on the first day of COP27, 6th November 2022, when we hand over to the incoming Presidency, Egypt. Our objective is to maintain the momentum that parties built at COP26 and use this to support success in other key fora - including CBD COP15. COP27 is a critical moment to redouble our efforts and go further, faster.
The UK will continue driving delivery of Glasgow commitments at COP27 and beyond, including with long-term initiatives such as the Forest and Climate Leaders Partnership, and pioneering new country-led Just Energy Transition Partnerships (JETPs).
There are four goals of our COP26 Presidency that will facilitate our work this year: Mitigation, Adaptation, Finance and Collaboration.
