“It is our goal to reconnect, renew and restart the fruitful relationship between NATO and EU and industry and academia after the long pause on face-to-face meetings and only virtual contact. For this purpose, our first event of the year will be the TechNet International in Brussels, the home of so many international entities. We are very much looking forward to providing a place for networking in a relaxed atmosphere and on neutral ground between military, government, academia and the industry that serves them, with expert conversations and hands-on experiences.”

This two-day conference and exhibition featured the newest technologies and solutions in a wide range of IT-related areas of interest for the defence and public security community. Coming together in Brussels is vital to stay connected with all of the Belgium-based defence and security organisations. This was an event that focused on meeting and networking, on questions of IT and emerging technologies. The understanding of the background in the NATO and EU environment and getting an update on the planned or started initiatives, policies, and projects, at both entities, were the essence of such an exchange.
TechNet International fostered in-person networking opportunities and a highly-regarded industry and technology exhibition.
TechNet International hosted specialists from national governments, defense and security bodies, NATO and EU, as well as industry and academia.
