Conference Social Events
There will be a full programme of social events at the Communication Matters International Conference, and delegates will be able to enjoy a glass or two of their favourite tipple in the bar which will open until late.
All delegates are invited to drinks reception at the Communication Matters Exhibition Opening from 17.30-18.30 on Sunday in the Exhibition Hall (Parkinson Building), followed by a buffet dinner in the Refectory (at 18.30) and entertainment from 20.45 (in the Terrace Bar).
On Monday evening there will be a Drinks Reception (18.30-19.15) with music on the University Concourse followed by a Conference Dinner with further entertainment and DJ Oli!
Conference Dinner optional Fancy Dress: The Trustees and many others wear fancy dress for this event. The theme for 2023 is 'Back to the Future'. This could be a character from the film or why not pick a decade, past or future, the choice is yours!

Assistive Gaming Zone
New for this year, Communication Matters will be staging an Assistive Gaming Zone, on Sunday 10th September from 1-4pm in the Esther Simpson Building during conference registration.
Supported by Everyone CAN, a leading Assistive Technology charity, Julian and his team will be giving delegates the opportunity to try out the latest solutions in assistive gaming technology, using adaptive controllers for Xbox, Nintendo Switch and PC gaming.
