In-person conference, Michael Sadler Building, University of Leeds
13 - 14 April 2023
Welcome to the annual BFDG meeting which will be in-person for the first time since 2019.
The British Feeding and Drinking Group first met in London in 1975 and is now an international and multi-disciplinary gathering of scientists interested in all aspects of appetite, eating and drinking. The annual conference welcomes a wide range of academic, clinical and industry-based scientists, including those working in psychology, physiology, medicine, nutrition, food science and related disciplines. The meeting provides an ideal platform for PhD students and early career researchers to showcase their work.
The 47th annual meeting of the British Feeding and Drinking Group will be held in person and will be hosted by the University of Leeds Meet in Leeds team. The meeting programme has been organised by members of the BFDG from across the world. We look forward to welcoming you for an exciting programme of short talks, keynote addresses and research posters.
The meeting will begin at 09:00am on Thursday 13th of April and finish at 16:00 on Friday 14th of April (dates are confirmed, the start and finish times are yet to be confirmed by the programme committee). There will be a conference meal on Thursday 13th April and a social programme (venue, price and activities to be confirmed).
Registration costs will be £150 for salaried delegates, £80 for students and £80 for those who are not able to attend the conference in person (to be confirmed).
Abstract submission will be online, with the option to select short oral presentation or electronic poster. Student bursaries will be available for in-person presentation and there will be an option to have the abstract published in Appetite.
