UK Higher Education/TNE mission to the Kingdom of Saudi ArabiaThe UK Department for Business and Trade is excited to announce a UK Higher Education/TNE mission to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in January 2025. The mission is open to UK universities and higher education institutions, who are looking to establish new – and deepen existing – partnerships with Saudi Arabia.
We invite expressions of interest from UK organisations working in higher education to attend a HE/TNE mission to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia from 5-7 January 2025. The mission will be led by UK Government International Education Champion Professor Steve Smith, with officials from the Department for Business and Trade, Department for Education, and the British Council. The mission will continue to strengthen partnerships and collaboration between the UK and KSA in higher education, seek to increase the number of HE and TNE partnerships between UK and KSA institutions, and continue to support strong bilateral relations between the UK and KSA.
Further details of the mission agenda will be shared with attending delegates following the completion of the EOI process.

BETT Global (DBT UK Pavilion)The International Education Team are now gearing up for BETT UK, where we will have a prominent position, alongside other national pavilions and global providers.
We were one of the most visited stands in January, with almost four hundred meetings, with a tally of £11.6 Export Wins as a direct result of our activities at, and in the margins over the week.
Our bespoke website will go live soon to promote our offer, which includes a pod on our pavilion, and prescheduled meetings with DBT international education officials from around the world.

HE TNE MISSION TO BRAZIL AND COLOMBIAEvent Dates - TBC)
DBT Education team, in collaboration with local partners, is organizing a Higher Education mission to Brazil and Colombia in April 2025, aimed at fostering international collaboration through language policies, degree recognition, revalidation, and transnational education. This mission will offer UK institutions a unique opportunity to engage with key Brazilian and Colombian stakeholders in higher education. In Colombia, the delegation will have the opportunity to visit university campuses, and network with key sector stakeholders through receptions and strategic meetings. The mission aims to strengthen ties between UK institutions and Colombian universities, enhancing opportunities for joint research, teaching, and student exchange.
