Healthtech Delegation
COVID-19 has created a paradigm shift in the NHS and how it works, generating a host of new unmet needs as well as a shift to being more actively engaged in innovation than before.
Israeli companies are well positioned to contribute towards this increase in appetite. Simultaneously, it represents an opportunity to get the UK’s public health sector further engaged with the Israeli healthcare innovation ecosystem. As ever, the main goal is to support the UK with Israeli technologies and streamline NHS ability to locate what they need.
We invite you to join our delegation to London and Leeds, on March 14-17, 2022.
On March 14 we will be holding a seminar on entering the UK market, along with a Nordics delegation, supported by DIT Norway. Throughout this day you will be able to Network with investors, healthcare specialists from other UK regions and more.
On March 15, you will be able to attend the digital Health London event. We will then be visiting SCC's Innovation in Healthcare Digital Hub in Birmingham on the 16th March after which we will travel to the Yorkshire and Humber Region in England. where we will conclude this visit with learning more about the Leeds- Israel Healthtech corridor and introducing its partners.
During this visit to Leeds you will get to meet and form connections with:
- The Leeds Teaching Hospital Trust
- West Yorkshire Combined Authority WYCA and Leeds City Region Local Enterprise Partnership LEP
- The Yorkshire and Humber AHSN
- The innovation hub in the University of Leeds, the National Institute for Health Research, the MRC, Leeds City Council and others.
The goal of the Leeds-Israel corridor programme is to align all of the NHS organisations in Leeds (which also has HQs for NHS England and NHSX) such that Israeli healthtech companies of any stage - whether early R&D or deployed in other markets - will be paired with the appropriate organisation and as the product/clinical work advances, be passed along the chain of organisations so that they receive continual support.
