The Department for Business and Trade (DBT) in Midlands is bringing together Commercial Officers from Denmark, Estonia, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania and Sweden to have 1:1 meetings with local businesses.
These in-market experts will be showcasing export opportunities both for products and service providers, as well as offering insight and guidance into their markets.
The roadshow is part of the Growing Green Together campaign from the UK's Department for Business and Trade in the Nordic and Baltic region. The campaign focuses on:
- Energy, including offshore wind, renewables, solar, battery storage
- Green construction
- Future mobility
- Sustainable consumption
- Future cities
- Food & Drink – organic and / or sustainable products
- UN Procurement – how to get involved in major global projects
This roadshow focuses on supporting export ready High Export Potential (HEP) businesses in sectors that fit the Nordic-Baltic region’s Growing Green Together campaign.
HEP businesses are defined as:
- Having a turnover of £500,000 or more per annum
- Having a product or service suitable for export
