The British Embassy and Swedish Energy Agency, together with His Majesty’s Ambassador to Sweden Judith Gough welcomes you to the British Ambassador’s Residence for an afternoon of inspiration and discussion focused on Green Finance for a low carbon economy and just Energy Transition.
Dr Brian O’Callaghan, from the Smith School of Enterprise and the Environment at Oxford University will speak on progress made since the publishing of a joint Swedish-UK report in January 2023 'The role of Ministries of Finance in driving and shaping the low-carbon energy transition'.
A panel discussion will follow focused on mobilizing private climate finance at the scale and speed needed for an orderly transition. Engage with NatWest, ALMI Invest GreenTech, Corpower and others on what more is needed for the future to encourage growth, both from the public and private spheres.
