Estonia Offshore Wind and Ports Trade Mission to the UK
UK Roadshow 2025
The United Kingdom is Europe’s leading offshore wind player, boasting 34% of global offshore wind capacity and major partnerships with Europe’s largest energy companies. Together, the UK and its partners are transforming the North Sea into Europe’s largest climate-neutral energy hub.
The British Embassy in Tallinn and the Estonian Embassy in London, in collaboration with Aberdeen International Associates (AIA), are hosting a roadshow to showcase the UK’s expertise in offshore wind and port development. This exclusive event invites Estonian stakeholders to learn how UK expertise can support upcoming projects in Estonia.
The roadshow will focus on key themes, including:
- Offshore port development
- Industrial parks
- Public-private partnerships
- Innovation in offshore wind
- Offshore wind park development
Targeted stakeholders and topics include:
- Government bodies
- Port authorities
- Offshore wind developers
- Industry clusters
- Innovation centres
- R&D and academia
- Legal and consulting firms
- Networking opportunities

The roadshow will explore opportunities and connections in North East England, a hub for offshore wind and port innovation.
A Proven Track Record
This is the sixth edition of the UK Roadshow series, which began in March 2022 with a trade mission to Scotland led by His Majesty’s Ambassador to Estonia, Ross Allen. Subsequent missions and roadshows have strengthened ties between the UK and the Baltic States, including:
- November 2022: UK Offshore Wind Industry Mission to the Baltics, led by His Majesty’s Trade Commissioner to Europe, Chris Barton.
- March 2023: Joint Estonian and Latvian Offshore Wind Roadshow to the UK, visiting North East England, Southern Scotland, and North East Scotland.
- November 2023: UK Offshore Wind visit to the Baltics.
- March 2024: Estonia and Latvia Offshore Wind Sector UK Roadshow to Edinburgh, Newcastle, Hull and Grimsby.
The 2025 Roadshow aims to deepen established relationships while introducing new UK stakeholders to Estonian counterparts, continuing the momentum of collaboration in the offshore wind sector.
