Grid
- What will the grid need to look like in 2030 to make effective use of the incremental energy generation?
- What North Sea grid enhancement projects can be launched in the short to mid-term?
- What role will the energy island(s) play?
PTX
- What is the role of PTX in the future North Sea Energy Infrastructure?
- What are the biggest technology challenges to make PTX an integral part of the future infrastructure?
- What are the easy wins (if any)?
Legal Framework
- What are the biggest challenges regarding the current legal framework?
- What can be addressed bi-laterally?
Trading systems
- What are the biggest challenges regarding the current trading systems?
- What is the role of governments to contribute to the development of the trading systems?
State of Green and the British Embassy in Copenhagen are bringing together key private and public stakeholders to discuss this theme. The aim is to identify initiatives that can be launched in the short to medium term to develop the DK-UK North Sea Green Energy Infrastructure to accommodate the increased power generation from OSW planned for the coming decade.
