Abstracts will address aspects of liver cancer focusing on all aspects of this disease with a clear emphasis on maximizing focus, exchange, and results.
All entries should fall under one of the below categories and can only be submitted if the results of the research were not yet available during the initial submission stage.

For Abstract Submitters 

1. Abstract Submission

Abstract Submission deadline:  Friday, 23 May 2025
Notification on the outcome of the abstract submission will be sent by email to the submitting author mid-June 2025.

To submit your abstract, click on the login button. 

If the presenting author is unable to present the abstract, one of the co-authors can present in his/her place. An email from the presenting author indicating the change is requested and must be received by the ILCA Office by latest 10 October 2025. The presenting author or at least one of the abstract co-authors should plan to register and attend the ILCA Annual Conference 2025.

2. Presentation Type

(1) All abstract submitters should be prepared to present the abstract as an oral communication or a top scored poster presentation. Abstract presenters that would like to be excluded from presenting an oral communication can indicate their preference by selecting for the poster presentation on the online abstract submission form.The abstract review committee reserves the right to assign a different presentation format from the one selected by the presenting author.
(2) Authors of abstracts selected for oral communications will be required to give a presentation of 10 minutes, followed by a defined time of questions and answers from the audience. Only PowerPoint format is acceptable for oral communication presentations.
(3) Authors of abstracts selected for poster blasts will be required to introduce their poster in a «2-minute pitch». Only 1 content slide is allowed and only PowerPoint format is acceptable.
(4) Authors of abstracts selected as a top-scored poster will be required to set up their poster in a dedicated area. They will also be required to submit their e-poster on the digital platform using the instructions that will be sent by events@ilca-online.org
(5) Authors of abstracts selected for posters will not present their poster physically. They will only be required to submit their e-poster on the digital platform using the instructions that will be sent by events@ilca-online.org. The e-posters will be available on screens during the ILCA 2025 Annual Conference. They will, however, not be asked to present their poster in front of an audience.
