MO Invitation [JLS]

How to register

STEP 1: Each Member Organsation has been offered a number of #JLS2019 places. 

STEP 2: Every Association may run a national selection or application process to select their #JLS2019 participants. If you would like to attend the Juliette Low Seminar, please contact your International Commissionner to find out how you can apply.

STEP 3: Participants that have been selected by their Association will be sent a unique link to register their details online and select their prefered JLS locations.

STEP 4: A team at WAGGGS will review the registrations and offer participants a JLS hub location to attend in 2019.

 

Programme fee

Each JLS participant will pay the same programme fee no matter what location they are selected to attend:  

£600 WAGGGS members

£750 external participants (at the invitation of the host country)

This fee covers:

  • Meals
  • Accommodation
  • All programme activities
  • A JLS t-shirt

This fee DOES NOT cover:

  • Return travel to the JLS hub location from a participant’s home
  • Visa fees
  • Travel insurance
  • Spending money

 

Registration calendar

 

31 January 2019

Applications close:

  • Deadline for Member Organisations to register selected and waiting list Juliette Low Seminar participants.
  • Deadline for participants selected by their Associations and waiting list participants to complete the online JLS registration form.

Late February 2019

Applicants are assigned to hubs:

  • Registrants will be assigned to hub locations based on their preferences.  These selections will be made to reflect the diversity of WAGGGS.

 

February – March 2019

  • All JLS registrants will be notified about  the JLS locations they have been selected to attend. 
  • Participants will be asked to confirm their place at JLS and pay a deposit of 20% (£120).

March – April 2019

Waiting list

  • Waiting list participants are notified.
