Andrew's work is based on significant business experience and education. His earlier career included advising companies on corporate strategy while at Boston Consulting Group and management positions in strategy and marketing at Time Warner and MTV. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Princeton, a Master of Business Administration degree from Columbia, and a Master of Environmental Management from Yale. He lives in Greenwich, Connecticut with his wife and two sons.

Jamie Woodwell

Jamie Woodwell is vice president in the Research and Economics group at the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA), where he oversees MBA's research and related activities covering the commercial and multifamily real estate markets.

Jamie and his work are regularly cited in the media, on Capitol Hill and in regulatory settings. He is a regular speaker at industry and corporate events; has appeared on CNBC, Bloomberg and in other popular and trade press; and testified before the Congressional Oversight Panel for TARP. Jamie initiated many of MBA's research activities, and created MBA's Peer Business Roundtables and the CREF Careers program.

Jamie joined MBA in 2004 from Fannie Mae, where he was responsible for multifamily data initiatives. He has also served as senior director of business development at CapitalThinking in New York, research director at the WMF Group in Virginia, and research manager at the National League of Cities in Washington, D.C.

Jamie is a member of the Urban Land Institute, the Counselors of Real Estate, the American Real Estate and Urban Economics Association and other professional and industry groups.

Jamie received his bachelor's degree in economics and American studies from Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island. He earned his master's degree in urban and regional planning from the Graduate School of Public and International Affairs at the University

 
David Zervos, Chief Market Strategist

David Zervos is the Chief Market Strategist for Jefferies LLC. David is best known across the financial services industry for his timely macroeconomic commentaries. In his role he continuously exchanges investment ideas with the world’s leading money managers, hedge funds, pension funds, sovereign wealth funds and government officials. He also appears regularly in the media as a frequent guest on CNBC, Bloomberg TV and Fox Business News. Additionally, David is a regular speaker at many key industry conferences and events. 

David joined Jefferies in 2010 after spending 2009 as a visiting advisor in the Division of Monetary Affairs at the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System in Washington, D.C. Prior to visiting the Federal Reserve, he held a variety of research, sales and trading positions in the private sector, most recently managing global macro portfolios for Brevan Howard and UBS O’Connor. He began his career as an economist at the Federal Reserve Board in the early 1990s. He received a B.Sc. in Systems Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis, and an M.A. and Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Rochester.
  
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
Jeff Meli, Managing Director, Global Head of Research
Barclays 

Jeff Meli is Global Head of Research at Barclays. Based in New York, he is also a member of the IHC Executive Committee and Chairman of the Research Executive Forum.

Jeff joined Barclays in 2005, as Head of US Credit Strategy Research. He later became Head of Credit Research, playing a key role in the expansion of the firm’s credit research franchise. He has taken on a number of other senior positions since then, including Co-Head of FICC Research and, most recently, Co-Head of Research globally. Jeff has been instrumental in driving the monetization agenda and is leading efforts to build the Research Data Science Platform, which will equip analysts with new tools to produce differentiated insights.

Jeff spearheaded the firm’s response to potential regulatory changes in Macro and Credit Research, as well as under MIFID II, representing the firm in conversations with regulators and as part of industry working groups.

Previously, he worked at Deutsche Bank and JP Morgan, with a focus on structured credit. Jeff has a PhD in Finance from the University of Chicago and an AB in Mathematics from Princeton.

Phil Clark, European Head of Property Investment, joined Aegon Asset Management in 2007 to establish Kames Capital’s property investment business, and leads AAM’s European Property Investment team. The UK Property Investment business (Kames Capital) was voted Property Fund Manager of the year in 2017 by the UK Professional Pensions industry, having also won the award in 2014.

He has worked in the real estate investment industry for over 30 years and established real estate businesses in Europe and Asia along with various funds including what the United Nations describe as the worlds first sustainable property investment fund. He has held a wide number of industry positions throughout his career including being Chairman of the Investment Property Forum Board.

Phil is a regular attendee of the Bank of England Commercial Property Forum, current Chair of the RICS Commercial Property Forum and Co-Chair of the Property Industry Alliance Debt Group, which represents the UK real estate industry on real estate debt matters. He is a board member of Cass Business School Real Estate Advisory Board.

He is also a Trustee and Board member of the University of London, sits on its investment committee and Chairs its Estates Strategy Committee.

Phil is a Member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors, is an FCA Authorised Person, has a Bsc from Surrey University and an MA from City University, Cass Business School.

Philip J. McAndrews is head of real estate equity responsible for the development of the equity real estate platform and expansion of the firm's specialized yield-oriented alternatives strategies and client-centric service capabilities. He is also a member of the Management Committee. Prior to joining the organization, Philip was senior managing director, CIO of global real estate for TIAA with assets under management exceeding $97 billion at the time of his departure. While at TIAA, he negotiated pioneering investments in the US for several of the world's largest sovereign wealth funds and collaborated on TIAA's acquisition of the $24 billion Henderson Global Real Estate Platform in 2015. Philip has 35 years of industry experience and joined the firm in 2018. He received his JD from the University of Toledo and earned his BS in finance from the State University of New York.

Martha Peyton is managing director of Applied Research for Aegon Real Assets US primarily responsible for the development and application of research to real asset strategies. Prior to joining the firm, Martha was managing director, head of real estate and global real assets research for TIAA. While at TIAA, she built and oversaw the research function for the commercial mortgage loan and real estate business. This included managing research staff; setting the research agenda; conducting ongoing monitoring and analysis of the investment environment and asset class performance; and authoring white papers and research publications. Martha has over 30 years of industry experience and joined the firm in 2018. She received her BA, MA and PhD in economics from Fordham University.
