UK Chamber of Shipping Event at London International Shipping Week “Offshore Energy - A Green Revolution”

The briefing will examine the UK second revolution for harnessing green technology in offshore energy & renewables. The Government’s Clean Growth Strategy was launched in Autumn 2017 and this support has been further exemplified by the offshore wind sector deal. The deal, which could see offshore wind contributing up to 30GW of generating capacity by 2030, will drive the transformation of offshore wind generation, making it integral to the UK energy mix and boost the productivity and competitiveness of the UK supply chain, enabling export potential.
