The Global Partners Programme is a collaboration between the Department for Business and Trade (DBT) and industry to encourage trade and promote British business globally.  ​​ Combining activity and events from across DBT, the Programme creates an international B2B and B2G marketing platform which can be tailored to meet the business objectives of participating sponsors.

The programme comprises over 100 trade events across over 15 markets, alongside activity within International Trade Week and the Made in the UK, Sold to the UK Awards, two of DBT’s key campaigns aimed at helping UK businesses achieve their global potential. ​

Investing in Future Wales: Where Fintech Thrives

The Department for Business and Trade (DBT) is bringing together Commercial Officers from five European markets to have 1-2-1 meetings with Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) businesses. These in-market experts will be showcasing export opportunities, as well as offering insight and guidance into their markets. This event promises to be an action-packed day where new business relationships are established.

The Department for Business and Trade (DBT) is delighted to invite businesses from across the Midlands to submit an expression of interest to participate in a trade mission to Türkiye. The programme is designed for export-ready companies who operate in automotive and future mobility sectors and interested in doing business with Türkiye and wider Eastern Europe and Central Asia region(Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan).

This event has been designed to showcase the capabilities and expertise in Midlands in battery management technologies, hydrogen fuel cells, autonomous vehicles, and automotive design, manufacturing and testing. With 40% of UK car exports made in the region, companies in Midlands are at the cutting edge of the design, development and deployment of battery propulsion, and connected and autonomous systems in vehicles. Following the seminar, there will be B2B meetings where participants will have the opportunity to have direct engagement with the Midlands businesses. More than 28 million business, government and general public visitors are forecast to attend the 6-month World Expo taking place in Osaka, Japan from April to October 2025.
