Abstract Submission

We are now accepting submissions for abstracts for the British Conference of Undergraduate Research, to be held virtually hosted by the University of Leeds, 12-13 April 2021.

BCUR is the largest conference in the UK dedicated exclusively to undergraduate research.
Undergraduates of all levels are invited to submit papers, to present posters, creative show and tell, oral presentations and performances to the Conference. Abstracts are peer-reviewed and those accepted will be invited to attend the conference. Abstracts should be no more than 250 words.
The deadline for submission of abstracts is midnight 3 February 2021. Once abstract submissions have closed, all abstracts will be reviewed by a panel of reviewers. Applicants will either be accepted or given the opportunity to review their abstract for resubmission. All students asked to resubmit will be given specific feedback on areas for improvement. You will be contacted by email with the outcome of your submission before 7th February 2021.You might be working on a dissertation, or you may have devised your own topic for an assessment. You might have worked with an external company, or worked with a researcher over the summer to help them with their research project.
All research is welcome at this conference, in any discipline taught in Higher Education. If you are unsure whether your work fits, get in touch, or talk to your tutor to find out how to get involved.
Confirmation of those invited to participate in BCUR21 will be released before the 9th February 2021.
Registration will open on 11th February and close on the 7th March 2021 and will be priced at £50 for all attendees.
