LOCATION & VENUE

The Eastern Andalusia Royal Academy of Medicine is a regional medicine academy corresponding to the provinces of Almeria, Granada, Jaen and Malaga, and the autonomous city of Melilla. It was recognized in 1757 by Ferdinand VI, although previously it already functioned as a medical-literature gathering center. Its current headquarters are in the Faculty of Medicine of Granada.





HOW TO ARRIVE

Please note that there's many daily flights from both Barcelona/Madrid airport to Granada airport.

From Granada's airport: 

• Take the bus "Granada Airport/Granada Center" and after 40 minutes, stop at Av. Constitución/Abba. Approximate rate: 2,40€

• Taxi: it takes around 30 minutes from Granada Airport to the venue by taxi, depending on traffic conditions. Approximate fare: 20-25€

You can also flight to Malaga international airport. To get to Granada from Malaga Airport:

• Take the bus from Malaga airport to Granada city. Please, check the times & information here. The journey takes 2,5 hours and a one-way tickets costs between 11-14€

• Taxi: from Granada bus station you can take a taxi. The journey takes about 15-20 minutes. Approximate fare: 5-7€


ABOUT GRANADA
