Early intervention products and therapeutics for healthy ageing
The UK has nearly 12 million people over the age of 55. The 85+ age group is set to double by 2041, dramatically expanding the demand for innovations to meet the needs of an ageing global society.
To address this, UK’s Department for Business and Trade (DBT) is showcasing the business and innovation opportunities that lie within the UK’s Healthy Ageing sector for Nordic and Baltic companies.
This will be a two-part activity consisting of a webinar and a company delegation to the UK. The two activities will demonstrate the healthy ageing landscape especially in the North East, Greater Manchester and Scotland.
These regions possess generous possibilities to design, test, develop and commercialise solutions for the healthy ageing sector, and have in place supportive clusters connecting investors with customers, supply chains and innovation partners.
