On Thursday 4th May, RIMS' Special Interest Groups will meet.
These groups aim to promote research and improve the management of persons with MS and their caregivers.
Traditionally, intensive “in-between” meetings of 1,5 to 2 days take place between RIMS's Annual Conference Meetings.
During “in- between” SIG meetings at one of the member centres across Europe, there are
scientific and clinical presentations on a chosen topic as well as free presentations. A clinical
or practical session (e.g. patient cases, demonstration of technology; visit to a centre) is
sometimes also organised.
There are currently 6 SIGs:
- Mobility
- Occupation,
- Psychology& Neuropsychology,
- Bladder, Bowel&Sexuality
- Communication&Swallowing
- Patient Autonomy
More detailed information on the different SIG Meetings (topics, agenda, speakers) can be found in the Scientific Programme page of this website.
