International Airport pick-up service - Summer 2026

The University of Leeds is committed to supporting new international students arriving in Leeds for the first time to have a supportive arrival experience.

Important information

*Our airport pick-up service is only available from Leeds Bradford Airport and Manchester Airport.
*Our service runs at set times during the day only:

The first transport departs at 9am. If you arrive earlier, you will need to wait until this service begins.
The last transport departs at 7pm. Your flight must arrive by 6pm at the latest.

If you are arriving outside these times, or if you are flying into a different UK airport, please read our guidance to plan a safe journey to campus.

Summer arrivals dates

Please book your service at least 5 days before you plan to arrive.

Leeds International Summer School (LISS)

Block 1 (starts 4 July): Saturday 4 July 2026
Block 2 (starts 19 July): Sunday 19 July 2026

Language Centre Pre‑Sessional English

10‑week course (starts 30 June): Monday 29 June 2026
6‑week course (starts 27 July): Saturday 25 or Sunday 26 July 2026

Your transport

You will be allocated either a coach or a taxi, depending on the number of bookings and your flight arrival time.

If you have already completed this form, and your arrival details have changed, please email us at internationalwelcome@leeds.ac.uk.

Declaration

Before you submit this form, please confirm that:

You are a new international student arriving in Leeds for the first time.
You are arriving only on one of the dates listed above.
You understand that airport pick‑up is available only within the stated times.
You have booked your flight and know your flight number.
You are submitting this form at least five days before your arrival.
You have not already submitted this form.
You have confirmed your accommodation arrangements.
You have read the University’s Travelling to Leeds information.
