New frontiers in corporate sustainability leadership in the Nordics
During the event, speakers from Tetrapak, Telia, and the Research Institute of Sweden will share the challenges and learnings they are facing to reach Net Zero emissions. Here is a preview of some of the topics that will be covered:
- Transforming Telia to a low-carbon and circular reality
Sara Nordbrand, Head of Group Sustainability, will highlight the importance of a dynamic sustainability strategy within a rapidly changing landscape. She will discuss moving from setting science-based targets, to achieving supplier engagement, incorporating circularity into Telia's strategy, and how enablement of avoided emissions has benefitted wider stakeholders.
- RISE (Research Institutes of Sweden)- Beyond avoided emissions assessments - A human needs-centred approach
The world needs transformational change to limit temperature rise to 1.5°C but how can we identify which solutions and actions are compatible with a sustainable future? Using the example of a clothing company, Clara Wickman from RISE will share how we can evaluate the order of magnitude impact/avoided emissions of a solution and inspire innovators to work towards having an even greater positive impact.
