UN International Procurement Seminar (IPS)

In 2021, the United Nations procured goods and services to a value of almost 30 Billion USD. This is a wide procurement portfolio including Pharmaceuticals, Medical & Healthcare , Management & Professional Services, Energy Solutions, Telecommunications and IT, Transportation & Storage, Water & Sanitation, Food & Nutrition.

The Department for International Trade at the British Embassy, Copenhagen invites you to participate in our United Nations International Procurement Seminar – Doing business with the UN and highlighting opportunities to supply goods and services. This seminar will be hosted in collaboration with the Netherlands Enterprise Agency and Enterprise Ireland.

This two-day seminar will include presentations from the UN Agencies and inform suppliers about procurement needs, procedures and how to do business with the UN. Panel discussions and themed workshops with UN experts on medical, healthcare & pharmaceuticals, ICT, Energy solutions, management & consultancy services, Supply Chain, Innovation, Sustainability and best practice cases from experienced suppliers.

We are currently developing the programme and the above topics are examples and could be subject to change.

The seminar will provide a unique opportunity for companies to request 1-2-1 meetings with UN Procurement Officers from each Agency. All registered companies can apply for meetings, please be aware that meeting requests are not guaranteed and will be approved at the discretion of the UN agencies.

The Seminar will also provide valuable interactive networking opportunities with companies from all the host countries.

All participating companies must be registered with The United Nations Global Marketplace (UNGM.org). Please click below to get to the landing page of the seminar and express an interest to participate. A formal invitation will be sent via the UNGM for acceptance and it will then be possible to request 1-2-1 meetings.

Participation Fee: £165 + VAT – paid to the Department for International Trade – details provided upon acceptance.

Registration deadline: Friday, 13 January 2023 – places are limited.
