RSM is the brand used by a network of independent accounting and advisory firms each of which practices in its own right. The network is not itself a separate legal entity of any description in any jurisdiction.

The network is administered by RSM International Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 4040598) whose registered office is at 50 Cannon Street, London EC4N 6JJ.

The brand and trademark RSM, and other intellectual property rights used by members of the network, are owned by RSM International Association, an association governed by article 60 et seq of the Civil Code of Switzerland whose seat is in Zug.

RSM Events – Privacy Notice This is the privacy notice for need to add event website(the Site). The Site is the platform we are using to host RSM events for the network, which includes RSM International Limited and the RSM network members, their affiliates and their associated entities, and RSM Clients.

The Site is administered by RSM International Limited (also referenced as "we", "us", "our" in the privacy notice below.)

 

Visitors to the event website

The Site is a third-party system, provided by Stova . All information on the site is stored and backed-up on servers hosted a secure datacentre in the EU region, however no personal information is captured when a delegate views the website, only when they choose to fill in the registration form.

Information that we might collect during the registration process:

- Name

- Position

- Contact details:

- Invoice address:

- Dietary requirements

- Emergency contact details

- Accessibility requirements

 

If your dietary requirements indicate your religion or a medical condition, we will only process this information with your consent and will delete it immediately following the event.

 

How your information may be used on The Site

We may use the information we collect for the following purposes:

• Newsletters and notifications which are sent to all delegate users

• Administration for sessions delegates sign up to

• Historical records

• Future internal promotion

 

Disclosure of personal information

There are some instances where we may need to share your personal information with a third party. We may disclose personal information in circumstances where:

• you agree to this

• we are permitted by applicable laws

• we are required to do so by law, Court order or regulatory authority;

• we are required to do so for the purposes of prevention of fraud or other crime; or

• we believe that such action is necessary to protect and defend the rights, property or personal safety of RSM International Limited, RSM network members, RSM affiliates, RSM associated entities or its visitors.

 

In addition, if we should be required to investigate a complaint, we may need to share personal information with any visitor specifically concerned and/or with other relevant bodies.

 

We hold specific agreements with RSM Member Firms for sharing information. If you wish to get further information on the agreement between your firm and RSM International Limited, please contact your firm's International Contact Partner.

 

Your Rights

Under certain circumstances, by law you have rights as an individual which you can exercise in relation to the information we hold about you. You have the right to:

• request access to your personal data

• request correction or erasure of the personal data we hold about you

• object to the processing of your personal data, including where we are processing your personal data for marketing purposes

• request the restriction of your personal data (for example if you ask us to suspend processing of personal data about you if you want us to establish its accuracy

• request the transfer of your provided personal data to another party.

In any cases where you have provided consent for the collection, and processing of your personal data for a specific purpose, you have the right to withdraw your consent for that processing at any time by contacting us using the contact details provided below.

To make a request to RSM International in respect of personal information we may hold about you, please make a request in writing for the attention of the DPO addressing it to DPO@rsm.global.

 

Complaints or queries

In collecting and using personal data, RSM International tries to meet the highest standards. For this reason, we take any complaints we receive about this very seriously. We encourage people to bring it to our attention if they think that our collection or use of information is unfair, misleading or inappropriate. We would also welcome any suggestions for improving our procedures.

This privacy notice was drafted with clarity in mind. It does not provide exhaustive detail of all aspects of the Site's collection and use of personal data.
