A specialist in the food and drink export sector, Sandra has over 35 years’ experience in creating export success for UK food and drink companies. Sandra is a director of the Food & Drink Exporters Association (FDEA) a membership community of UK food exporters and professional service members offering peer to peer connections, expertise, contacts and access to a vibrant network. Sandra also heads up the team at PS8, global exhibitions and events specialists in food and drink, organising UK pavilions and bespoke stands for companies across UK and International trade shows. Sandra is a member of the Food and Drink Export Council and was awarded an MBE for her services to the food sector in 2016.

In the UK we have developed the UK Customs Academy on behalf of HMRC, which has enrolled 9000+ learners. We are the main delivery partner for the Trader Support Service (TSS) for Great Britain/Northern Ireland. This support service is aimed at overcoming the unique challenges posed by Brexit and the NI Protocol for UK businesses and to ensure that goods are moved efficiently and meet the regulations set by EU and UK government.

UK Export Finance (UKEF) is the UK government’s export credit agency. We support UK exporters, international project sponsors and buyers of UK goods and services; in the year 2022-23, we provided £6.5 billion in new, direct support for UK exports by working alongside over 100 banks and lenders to provide flexible, innovative, and competitive financing solutions. UKEF can support companies large and small across a range of sectors with their exports, from capital goods to services and intangibles such as intellectual property. Last year, 84% of the companies we directly supported with a UKEF product were SMES.
