Walliserhof Grand-Hotel, 5* - Headquarter & ACM Conference Hotel
The 5-star chalet style Walliserhof Grand-Hotel & Spa Relais & Châteaux is very well located in center of the car-free village of Saas-Fee. It's an intimate ski resort surrounded by mountains over 4000 m above sea level and known as "The pearl of the Alps".
Decorated with sustainable and natural materials such as local wood, slate and wool, guest rooms exude comfort and warmth as well as offering a breathtaking views of the glaciers. There are 3 restaurants, each showcasing local, seasonal produce. Finally, an immense spa, with a relaxation area bathed in light, promises an unforgettable moment after a congress day. The hotel has 74 rooms.

CONFERENCE DESK
The conference desk in Walliserhof Grand-Hotel will be opened on Saturday from 16:30, Sunday from 07:30, Monday and Tuesday from 7:30-11:00 am each morning and from 3:30 pm during the afternoon sessions. Our hostesses will be pleased to welcome you for accommodation, dinners and social activities matters.

Cancellation rules & fees 2025/2026
Please kindly note that any registration made is due and is subject to cancellation conditions below:
Conference registration
Until 15th October 2025: an administrative handling fee of CHF 75.- will need to be levied
From 16th October 2025 to 1st December 2025: an administrative handling fee of CHF 150.- will need to be levied
From 2nd December 2025 to 1st January 2026: 50% of the registration cost will be reimbursed
From 2nd January 2026: no refund
Accommodation booking
Until 15th October 2025: an administrative handling fee of CHF 75.- will need to be levied
From 16th October 2025 to 15th November 2025: 60% of the hotel booking cost will be reimbursed
From 16th November 2025 to 1st January 2026: 20% of the hotel booking cost will be reimbursed
From 2nd January 2026: no refund
If Vitalis Events manages to resell the cancelled room, only a handling fee of CHF 75.- per cancelled night will apply
Additional services (dinners, etc.)
Until 31st December 2025: no charge
From 1st January 2026: no refund

ACCESS
HOW TO GET THERE?
BY CAR
Saas-Fee/Saastal can easily be reached by car from all directions, whether from Switzerland or abroad.
You arrive via Bern via the Lötschberg car transport from the north.
You come over the Furka Pass or the Furka car transport from the east.
From the south, you can reach us via the Simplon Pass or Simplon car transport, and from the west, you drive via Lausanne along the Rhône valley to Visp and towards Saas-Fee.
From Visp, drive south in the direction of Saas-Fee. At the "Killerhof" roundabout after Stalden, take the second exit towards Saas-Fee. In Saas-Grund, turn right after the church in the direction of Saas-Fee.
A Motorway sticker is required in Switzerland.
Stickers are available at the customs office, gas stations, post offices etc.
4 × 4 or winter tyres are always required in winter.

BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT
From the international airports of Zurich, Geneva, Basel Euro Airport and Milan, you have train connections to Visp. From there, you can take the PostBus (Bus 511 - direction Saas-Fee) every half hour directly to Saas-Fee/Saas Valley.
From Zurich, Geneva, Basel Euro Airport, and Milan airports, public transport takes about three hours.

At www.sbb.ch you will find all timetable information for your journey by public transport to, in and around Saas-Fee by train (Swiss national rail - SBB / Rhaetian railway - RhB).
CAR PARKING
Saas-Fee is a car-free village. Upon arrival in Saas-Fee, leave your car in the car park or in the uncovered car park at the entrance to the village.

POSTERS & CASES
POSTER PRESENTATIONS
Continuing the success of last years, attendees are invited to share their research via e-poster presentation.
Presentations (in PowerPoint format, maximum 4 slides) will be shown on a monitor in the hall. They can be sent to Dieter Hahnloser by December 15th (maximum size 5 MB).
The best e-poster will be rewarded with a free registration for Alpine Colorectal Meeting in 2027. All submissions are welcome - do not pass up this wonderful opportunity!
CALL FOR CASES
The presentation of clinical cases is a very popular part of our Alpine meeting as they are instructive, fun and a bit of a challenge! Please consider submitting one which illustrates a dilemma, difficulty or topic of interest in a powerpoint format. Short illustrative videos will also be considered.
Shorter cases and those which relate to the scientific program are preferred. We will certainly consider longer cases also but we may recommend that you edit them significantly. You might like to consider the format below.
Please avoid presentations of research, excessive background, needless complexity or more than a brief reference to the literature (1 ppt slides max).
Cases presentations should ideally run for 5 minutes and should incorporate a question or questions for you or the chair people to pose to the audience. Images and pathology slides are encouraged and where appropriate, short video clips can be particularly good.
We will have an experienced radiologist and pathologist on site to discuss those images.

Power Point Presentations must be submitted latest by January 6th for review. The chair of the case of the sessions, Jared Torkington and Willem Bemelman will inform you of acceptance and any changes that need to be made.
INSTRUCTION FOR SPEAKERS
Please bring your talk on a memory stick as a power-point presentation ready to go to our technician. For practical reasons please bring your own PC/MAC adapter leads in case you need to use your personal laptop.
