The family-run Morosani Schweizerhof Hotel is located in the heart of Davos, close to the cable cars to go skiing. It has a sunny terrace and balconies with splendid views of the mountains. CONFERENCE DESK
The conference desk in Morosani Schweizerhof will be opened on Sunday from 10.00 am, Monday and Tuesday from 7:30-11:00 am each morning and from 3:30 pm during the afternoon sessions. Our hostesses will be pleased to welcome you for accommodation, dinners and social activities matters.

Cancellation rules & fees 2023/2024
Conference registration
Until 14th October 2023: an administrative handling fee of CHF 50.- will need to be levied
From 15th October 2023 to 1st December 2023: an administrative handling fee of CHF 150.- will need to be levied
From 2nd December 2023 to 1st January 2024: 50% of the registration cost will be reimbursed
From 2nd January 2024: no refund
Accommodation booking
Until 14th October 2023: an administrative handling fee of CHF 50.- will need to be levied
From 15th October 2023 to 15th November 2023: 60% of the hotel booking cost will be reimbursed
From 16th November 2023 to 1st January 2024: 20% of the hotel booking cost will be reimbursed
From 2nd January 2024: no refund
If Vitalis Events manages to resell the cancelled room, only a handling fee of CHF 50.- per cancelled night will apply
Additional services (dinners, etc.)

ACCESS
HOW TO GET THERE?
The nearest train station is Davos Platz and is 650 m away from the hotel.
For car parking, the hotel offers limited outside spaces free of charge. Alternatively a space in garage can be reserved at CHF 35.00.- per night during the winter season.
BY CAR
Davos is located in the heart of Graubünden in the east of Switzerland.
You will find your way to Davos easily by taking the motorway to Landquart (direction Chur).
From Zurich: follow the A3/A13 (towards Chur) (green traffic signs) until the exit to Landquart. After Landquart follow the main road to Davos.
A Motorway sticker is required in Switzerland.
Stickers are available at the customs office, gas stations, post offices etc.
4 × 4 or winter tyres are always required in winter.

BY TRAIN
You travel by Swiss national rail (SBB) to Landquart and then continue on with the Rhaetian railway (RhB) to Klosters or Davos, you will enjoy the view!
From Zurich airport to Davos Platz: apprx. 2,5 hours.

At www.sbb.ch you will find all timetable information for your journey by public transport to, in and around Davos Klosters by train (Swiss national rail - SBB / Rhaetian railway - RhB) incl. post van and local bus in Davos (VBD) and Klosters-Serneus
When you will arrive at the train station, there are 2 options:
-Take a taxi: Book your transfer with our local partner TBC.
-Walk 10 min (650 m) to the Morosani hotels.

Upon check-in you will receive a guest card of Davos which you can use for local busses free of charge during your stay.
POSTERS & CASES
POSTER PRESENTATIONS
Continuing the success of last years, attendees are invited to share their research via e-poster presentation.
Presentations (in PowerPoint format, maximum 4 slides) will be shown on a monitor in the hall. They can be sent to Roel Hompes by December 21 th (maximum size 5 MB).
The best e-poster will be rewarded with a free registration for Alpine Colorectal Meeting in 2025. All submissions are welcome - do not pass up this wonderful opportunity!
CALL FOR CASES
The presentation of clinical cases is a very popular part of our Alpine meeting as they are instructive, fun and a bit of a challenge! Please consider submitting one which illustrates a dilemma, difficulty or topic of interest in a powerpoint format. Short illustrative videos will also be considered.
Shorter cases and those which relate to the scientific program are preferred. We will certainly consider longer cases also but we may recommend that you edit them significantly. You might like to consider the format below.
Please avoid presentations of research, excessive background, needless complexity or more than a brief reference to the literature (1 ppt slides max).
Cases presentations should ideally run for 5 minutes and should incorporate a question or questions for you or the chair people to pose to the audience. Images and pathology slides are encouraged and where appropriate, short video clips can be particularly good.
We will have an experienced radiologist and pathologist on site to discuss those images.
Please send them to Jared.Torkington@wales.nhs.uk or e-mail him for further information or with any querie you may have as soon as you can as those received first will get some priority.

Power Point Presentations must be submitted latest by January 6th for review. The chair of the case of the sessions, Jared Torkington and Willem Bemelman will inform you of acceptance and any changes that need to be made.
INSTRUCTION FOR SPEAKERS
Please bring your talk on a memory stick as a power-point presentation ready to go to our technician. For practical reasons please bring your own PC/MAC adapter leads in case you need to use your personal laptop.
