The British High Commission in India invites applications for the fourth edition of the UK–India HealthTech Accelerator Programme—a proven structured initiative supporting high-potential Indian HealthTech companies to enter, scale, and succeed in the UK healthcare market.

What the programme offers

Participating companies will:

  • Gain deep insights into the UK HealthTech and healthcare ecosystem
  • Understand NHS pathways, regulatory requirements, and procurement processes
  • Build clear and practical UK market entry and scale-up strategies
  • Engage with UK Government health agencies, potential partners, and customers
  • Explore opportunities for pilots, partnerships, funding, and investment

 

Delivery partners

The programme is delivered in collaboration with UK Government National Health Agencies, Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) and Bhubaneswar City Knowledge Innovation Cluster (BCKIC).

Programme structure

Stage 1 – India Accelerator

  • 25 companies will participate in a 3-day, fully funded accelerator programme in India

Stage 2 – UK Immersion Programme

  • 6 companies will be selected for a fully funded, bespoke programme in the UK, offering direct engagement with the wider UK HealthTech ecosystem

Eligibility

The programme is open to Indian HealthTech companies with mature, ready-to-deploy solutions addressing priority challenges faced by the NHS.
Solutions leveraging AI, data, and advanced analytics are strongly encouraged.

Priority areas of focus

  1. Workforce Productivity & Clinical Workflow Optimisation
    Automation, data-driven decision-making, workforce planning, and operational efficiency across hospital, primary, and community care settings.
  2. Preventive & Community-Based Care / Early Diagnosis
    Prevention, early diagnosis, triage, screening, virtual care, and risk prediction to support a shift from hospital to community care.
  3. Waiting List & Patient Pathway Management
    Demand prediction, patient prioritisation, “waiting well” approaches, and personalised pathway management.
  4. Urgent & Unscheduled Care Optimisation
    Reducing avoidable emergency admissions, optimising ambulance services, enabling early discharge, and strengthening system resilience.
  5. Healthy Society, Healthy Ageing & FemTech
    Solutions supporting wellbeing, long-term conditions, carers, healthy ageing, and addressing gaps in women’s health, including reproductive, maternal, and menopause care.

What happens next?

Shortlisted applicants will be invited to pitch virtually (dates to be confirmed)

Following the pitch round, 25 companies will be selected to join the accelerator programme
