Morocco, located at the north-western tip of Africa, is bordered by the Atlantic Ocean to the west and the Mediterranean Sea to the north, with Casablanca as its largest city and commercial capital. Renowned for its blend of Amazigh, Arab and European influences, the country offers a rich architectural and cultural landscape, from the historic medinas of Fez and Marrakech to the modern coastline of Casablanca itself. The landscape ranges from Atlantic beaches and coastal plains to the Atlas Mountains further inland. With a mild climate through the winter months, Morocco provides a comfortable setting for exploring its cities, cuisine and coastline.
