Staying safe and secure online - Train the Trainer Session

Ever been asked by someone what a strong password actually is and not been sure what to say? Had someone show you an email and ask whether it's real or fake?

Lead Scotland are offering free Training for Trainers sessions for staff in colleges who work with individuals with low IT skills or confidence that need extra support with staying safe and secure. We'll give tips and strategies for staff and volunteers supporting individuals using their laptops, tablets, or phones to access the internet.

The session will be delivered online lasting between 60-90 minutes with time for questions included. By the end, participants will feel more confident supporting the people they work with to stay safe and secure online and know where to go to access information and resources. We have translated the National Cyber Security Centre's Six Cyber Aware information into thirteen accessible formats to reach more people.
